‘Windtalker’ Seminole died last year at 96

Native American ‘windtalker’ who used tribal language to outwit the enemy in the Second World War has died aged 96 Edmond Harjo of the Seminole Nation sent secret messages during war. The 96-year-old was part of elite group who used native language to create unbreakable code Harjo was presented with the Congressional Gold Medal for his services last year.
