WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is aiming for summer passage of an infrastructure plan that is expected to cost more than $3 trillion, and the White House hopes to take a more deliberate and collaborative approach with the contentious Congress than it did on the COVID-19 rescue package, officials said Monday.

Biden approval rating on COVID-19 reaches 72 percent: poll

An overwhelming majority of Americans approve of President Biden's response to the COVID-19 pandemic and his administration's handling of vaccine distribution thus far, a new ABC News/Ipsos poll shows. Results from the poll, which were released on Sunday, showed that 75 percent of Americans approved of Biden's pandemic response. Seventy-two percent of respondents expressed approval of his administration's handling of vaccine distribution.
